Privacy Policy

Merchant Visibility™ ("Merchant Visibility") is an independent local visibility measurement and reporting service operated by Quantum Computing, LLC. It measures where a business appears online, whether its published details are correct, and how that picture changes over time, and it presents the results as a Visibility Report.

Information we collect

• Business listing information: the business name, address, phone number, website, hours, and profile links that a report is run against.
• Contact details used to deliver reports: an email address or phone number provided so a report link can be sent.
• Measurement data: the results of the checks we run against public directories, maps, search engines, and social platforms, and the scores derived from them.
• Access a business chooses to grant: where a business asks for a listing to be corrected, it may grant access to the profile in question. Credentials shared through our secure access page are encrypted at rest and readable only by an authorized manager.

How we use information

We use the information above to run checks, produce and deliver Visibility Reports, track how a business's presence changes over time, and — only where a business has asked for it — correct listings on its behalf. We do not sell business or personal data, we do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers required to operate the site (our hosting and database provider) or as required by law.

Connected services and Google user data

Where a report includes advertising performance, that data is accessed through the Google Ads API with read access an authorized administrator has granted. It is used solely to display that account's own performance inside its report. We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, resale, or training machine-learning models, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as required to operate the service or as required by law.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and security

Data is stored in a managed database with row-level security. Access tokens and any credentials shared with us are encrypted at rest and are only readable by server-side code. Report links unlock exactly one business's report and can be switched off at any time.

Retention and deletion

Measurement results are retained on a rolling basis so a report can show change over time. To request deletion of any data we hold about your business, email us at the address below and we will delete it within 30 days.
